reference text was exodus 15:22-27.
Moses and some others were travelling and didnt have water to drink for three days.
they finally reached Marah(sp?), but couldnt drink as the water was bitter (marah meaning bitter).
Moses cried out to the Lord who gave him a piece of wood, of which Moses put in the water and the water became sweet.
aft tt they set off for another journey
and reached a certain place with 12 springs and 70 palm trees.
learning point?
God can change grotty things,
and good things are never far away.
there were 12 springs in the nxt city
when in the previous one there was barely water to drink.
derived conclusion: we can trust God in he tough times,
and of course in the good times as well(:
God is there when our times are low.

i was one of the few ppl she sent that to, and im really glad she did. the first 'grotty' thing i thought of was how badly we were singing in choir, and that we would be having choir workshop with tkgs the next day. and of how disappointed and angry ms lim would be with us. so i prayed. just a short prayer, not long or elaborate. just that we would be able to sing well and give Him the glory.
its amazing what one tiny prayer, one little bit of faith(i really did think we'd kena badly from ms lim) can do. God does amazing things in amazing ways. even the littlest things that you dont realise. like how i didnt feel sleepy at all.
thank God, really. i dont think we did very well, but, yeah. we could have put more expression into both songs la. and more effort. and more energy. and more heart.
tkgs has a reallyreally good tone. i love their syf piece! its the kind of piece we cant carry off. they're way more musical than us. jiayou! (:
concl: God can really change the grotty things into the good things. only i hope we'll get better.. not that i didnt believe He couldnt, but sometimes its hard to believe right. like if you'd told me last night that ms lim would scold us i would say you were nuts. thank God, really(:
God can turn any situation around. He listens to even the littlest of prayers. thank you, Lord. :)
